Payment Issues
Payment problems can be stressful. Here is how to resolve common payment and credit issues quickly.
Payment Declined
If your payment was declined during checkout:
Check card details
- - Verify the card number is entered correctly
- - Ensure the expiration date is current (card not expired)
- - Double-check the CVV/security code
- - Confirm the billing address matches your card
Contact your bank
- - Some banks block international or online transactions by default
- - Your bank may have flagged the transaction as suspicious
- - Check if you have reached your daily spending limit
Try a different payment method
- - Use a different credit or debit card
- - Try a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay) if available
- - Some prepaid cards may not work for recurring services
Credits Not Appearing After Purchase
If you completed a purchase but do not see your credits:
- 1Wait 1-2 minutes
Credits are typically added within seconds, but may occasionally take up to 2 minutes
- 2Refresh your dashboard
Press F5 or click the refresh button
- 3Check your email for confirmation
You should receive a receipt from Stripe. If you did not, the payment may not have completed
- 4Log out and log back in
This forces a refresh of your account data
Still missing? If credits do not appear after 5 minutes and you have a receipt, contact support with your receipt/transaction ID.
Webhook Delays
AI CRED uses Stripe webhooks to process payments. In rare cases, these can be delayed:
What are webhooks?
Webhooks are automatic notifications from Stripe that tell us your payment succeeded. Your credits are added when we receive this notification.
When delays happen:
- - Typically resolved within 5-15 minutes automatically
- - Check your credit balance periodically
- - Do not attempt to purchase again until the issue is resolved
Stripe Checkout Errors
If you encounter errors on the Stripe checkout page:
"Something went wrong"
- - Close the checkout window and try again
- - Clear your browser cache and cookies
- - Try a different browser
"Checkout session expired"
- - Checkout sessions expire after 24 hours
- - Return to AI CRED and start a new checkout
- - Complete the payment more quickly next time
"This card is not supported"
- - We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
- - Some regional cards may not be supported
- - Try a different card or payment method
Contacting Support for Payment Issues
When contacting support about payment issues, please include:
- Your account email address
- Date and approximate time of the transaction
- Transaction or receipt ID from Stripe (if available)
- Last 4 digits of the card used
- Any error messages you saw (screenshot if possible)
