AI CRED works best with modern browsers. Here is how to ensure your browser is compatible and properly configured.

Clearing Cache and Cookies
Clearing your browser cache can resolve many display and functionality issues:
Chrome
- 1. Press Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows)
- 2. Select "All time" for time range
- 3. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
- 4. Click "Clear data"
Safari
- 1. Go to Safari > Settings > Privacy
- 2. Click "Manage Website Data"
- 3. Search for "aicred" and select it
- 4. Click "Remove" or "Remove All"
Firefox
- 1. Press Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows)
- 2. Select "Everything" for time range
- 3. Check "Cookies" and "Cache"
- 4. Click "OK"
Edge
- 1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- 2. Select "All time" for time range
- 3. Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
- 4. Click "Clear now"
Disabling Extensions
Browser extensions can sometimes interfere with AI CRED. Extensions that commonly cause issues:
- -Ad blockers (uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus) - May block our API calls
- -Privacy extensions (Privacy Badger, Ghostery) - May block authentication
- -VPN extensions - May cause connection issues
- -Script blockers (NoScript) - Will break site functionality
To test if extensions are the issue:
- 1. Open an Incognito/Private window (extensions are usually disabled)
- 2. Navigate to AI CRED and try the action that was failing
- 3. If it works, an extension is likely causing the issue
- 4. Disable extensions one by one to find the culprit
JavaScript Required
AI CRED requires JavaScript to function. If JavaScript is disabled, you will see a blank page or limited functionality.
To enable JavaScript:
- -Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > JavaScript > Enable
- -Safari: Settings > Security > Enable JavaScript
- -Firefox: Type
about:config> Search "javascript.enabled" > Set to true - -Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > JavaScript > Enable
Mobile Browser Issues
While AI CRED works on mobile devices, we recommend using a desktop for the best experience during assessments.
Mobile best practices
- Use Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android
- Ensure your device has a stable internet connection
- Turn off Low Power Mode which can throttle performance
- Close other apps to free up memory
Known mobile limitations
- - In-app browsers (opening links from apps) may not work properly
- - Some text input features may be limited on mobile keyboards
- - Smaller screens can make reading longer content challenging
Recommendation: For the best assessment experience, use a desktop or laptop computer with a keyboard. This allows you to type responses more easily and see all content clearly.
